Help with an Enfield

"...because it is marked England..." There's no guarantee of that. It has nothing to do with 'sporterizing'. It was done to full military stocked rifles too. Required to get 'em into the U.S.
 
Actually I plan on getting rid of it. I have a thread up in the Equipment section with the sale info. I don't have the funds of time to restore the old girl, I just want guns I can shoot. So I'm hoping someone that wants to restore her will snatch it up or offer me a good trade.
