Help with Barska Optics

Local gun dealer is selling some optics on clearance

I am looking at a
Barska 6.5-20 *50 asking 100.00
Barska 3-9*50 asking 60.00

These are brand new scopes

Are these scopes worth what is being asked ...I have never used BArska Optics

6.5-20*50 would be going on my SKS
3-9 * 50 would be going on my Winchester 30-30

I was thinking about Barska scopes a long time ago and after some research I found the general opinion was that they were a POS, depending on your needs & expectations. I wouldn't bother putting one on my SKS and if I did I'd get a compact scope with receiver mount from Fitco www.futong.com; still not all that great quality but at least you get the mount and a scope suitable for an SKS.

i wouldnt call them a pos , unless you have used one, i have one on my 308 match rifle it works quite well adjustments are positive clicks are audible, for a sks yes they are a good scope for it , just watch out with long scopes casings will come up and hit the scope i turned a scope into a rattle doing that and it quite the dent in it ,
 
Short of not really matching the scope to the application there is nothing wrong with barska scopes that I have been able to tell with mine. I have a 3-12x airgun on my 10/22 it has better optics than my 4-12x or 6-18 Banners.

IMHO The scopes just are not good fits for the guns your putting them on.
