Browning should be ashamed that this rifle doesn't run! In fact, this rifle is the reason I will never own a BAR.

Yeah, it's a beautiful rifle and would love to see it running like it should.

I was tempted to pick one up in 9.3x62 as well but so hard to find and too bad trade ex no longer around to import them.

Its sitting in my safe. It is a model with the adjustable gas port, someone had been adjusting the gas port, and got it wrong. Other than that, waiting on a few more brands and loads of ammo to run through it before I am 100% certain that was the only issue.

Wow! That's the first I heard of an adjustable gas port on the rifle. Hopefully that solves it.

I hope the OP doesn't think the removable screw is an adjustment... it just allows access for cleaning, etc.

Can you post a pic of this gun & the adjustable gas block?
