Help with enfield - With pics!

Can anyone tell me more about this Enfield? I know very little about them.
How much would it be worth?

You have a savage No.4 mk1*, the barrel has been cut so not a candidate for a restoration. Probably $100 for parts.

Looks like a sporterized (modified for sporting/hunting) Savage (US Made) No.4 Mk1*. These were made under lend lease for the British by the Americans during the war.

Yours looks like the barrel has been modified by shortening the barrel and adding a different sight. your also obviously missing the fore stock.

As for value, I would pay maybe $80-100 for it since the barrel was nipped and its missing the fore stock.

It shouldn't be any problem to pick up a sporterized forend so you would at least have a complete gun. It might then bring closer to $200.00 as a sporter.
I may be mistaken, but it looks as though you might have a No1 magazine in that No 4.
