Of the 3, the Ribas seems the nicest more comfortable but the most complicated to set up.
I find the lock unlock in the ghost and racer to be in a weird location.

Any first hand experience with these?

Thanks

The GR seems complicated at first but when you see how the adjustment s work it's quite easy to set up. Lock is in a good location, holster is plastic , it's durable but still plastic. holster can be set up to fit many pistols at no extra cost which is what I like. The DAA is a nice holster, aluminum body. Lock is in a great location as well, but if you want to use it with another gun you need the aluminum block inserts and they may not have them for that specific pistol. And a 50 bucks a insert can get quite expensive.

thanks, I am leaning towards the Ribas, how do you find durability to be? you mention it is mostly plastic, do you find it getting loose over time?

I've been using the Ernie Hill holster for two years now and haven't had any durability issues or loosening.

is the Ribas allowed in Production around the world? or are there any limitations? I heard of certain mag pouches not allowed in some places, like for instance, magnets not allowed in the states...I might be wrong...
I tried to find anything specific in the rule book but I could not.

Durability hasn't been an issue, I've only had it about half a year and I haven't had to do any adjustments so time will tell on durability. I dealt directly with ernie and he was a great guy to deal with. He even threw in a belt for me.

Avenida, the Safariland 014 holster with ( ElS) it might fit your need especially if you shoot multi gun. better check their ELS SYSTEM.

I prefer the Ghost,,,,the audible 'click' when you reholster is something I got used to, as the metal ball in the ghost makes that noise when you holster or draw the gun. Lock is simple to use. I am right handed, and reversed the hanger to get it to position my gun lower. The Ernie Hill/ Guga holster is also great, and would be using one if I did not have a brand new Ghost in use while I had the Ernie Hill unit. I have limited experience with the DAA race holster. Seems good to go.

First hand customer service, that is awesome.
Do you have Ernie's email?
