OK guys, I have n 870 that I want to lighten up and (no pun intended) mount a flashlight on.

I have tried the side mount figure 8 style but find they bulk the gun out too much for my liking.

I am not a fan of the sure fire style integrated pump/flashlight either. (I find they hang too low for my likes)

I want to keep it as streamlined and light as possible (oh yeah...and cheap).

What I want to do is mount my flashlight under the barrel where the mag extension would normally go.

Can anyone tell me if they make a quality mount like this? I have had no luck at any of the usual brick and mortars.

Thanks for your time!

If you are looking for cheap. Try th air soft forums or shops. You may find some nc star stuff

We make a flashlight mount but it is intended to be used with a mag extension

I use the Mesa tactical Barrel band with rail. The rail can be set up on either side and it also provides QD sockets which I put a D-Ring on for a single/dual point sling setup. Simply add your favorite rail mounted light.

I use the larger one on the left to prevent the sling clip from pressing on the QD button during manipulation.

Use the clamp intended for an extended mag tube . Clamp onto barrel at the end of the forearm and clamp surefire just in front of the forearm so the button on the end of the flashlite can be activated by your thumb of your '"pump hand... works GREAT!!!! I you have a rifled barrel with the ramped white front sight - gives a perfect illumination for a sight picture!!!

I tried this, you gotta use a metal clamp. I broke a plastic clamp when I tightened it enough to hold the light and withstand recoil.
