HELP with Glcok

hello All

today i did something stupid. After cleaning my glock 17, I put the slide back on, but i forgot to put the barrel, back in the slide. NOW I can not take the slide off. Even though the trigger is pulled all the way down, and I slide the slide back just a little, and pull the two tabs on the lower receiver down. The slide just won't come off. It keeps getting jamed. I know that I probablly just have to push something down????????? Has anyone here done this before and can help me out I would be most gratefull.

it wont let me go to full battery, the slide is about 5 mm from the end, then i feel a spring pullling it back
