Help with heavily leaded barrel

This mixture is highly effective. Over a very extended period of time (prolonged exposure for days) it can leach chrome from a barrel, but for all practical purposes, you don't have to worry. Some barrels have a minimal chrome content anyway. I just plug the chamber with a spent casing, pour the mixture in the barrel, and wait ten to fifteen minutes. You will see a substance ooze from the barrel. It is a lead acetate mixture, a highly toxic substance. Use gloves and dispose of it right away.
