Hi there, the decapping pin on one of my Lee Die sets has been pushed up and I went to try and loosen the collet holding it to push it back down and it wont budge. I have the correct sized wrenches and I have applied a ton of force and it wont loosen. Anyone had this problem and have a fix? Or just suggestions.

Thanks for the help.

Are you using two wrenches? One on the flats on the die itself and one on the collet nut is the way to do it...

edit: even better is a ratchet / socket for the nut and a large wrench on the flats.

Try putting the die in a vice upside down with the vice holding the nut, use a big wrench to turn the die.

Like everyone else said, wicked tight.

If you still can't get it loose - take a hammer and tap the pin back down.
