Good morning!

I'm trying something new and am looking for some help with the numbers on what I'm guessing is a re-barreled 1944 Longbranch No4 Mk1*. It's a 5 groove military barrel, looks the same as the barrel on my '43 LB but the stamps are completely different.

There are no other stamps or markings anywhere on the barrel, and no serial.

Google has been surprisingly unhelpful with this. And yes I know there is a book but retooling for .303 comes first, so that's a couple months down the road. :D

Thanks!

I googled it, and the first page I looked at suggests that the "C MK4" indicates that it is a 6 groove barrel. Below that is a Canadian Arsenals marking beside what I imagine is the year of manufacture.

The cbroad arrow on top of the receiver with the two opposed arrows looks like the rifle was sold out of canadian military service. It may support a DCRA conversion in the 1950s-1960s.
