I HAVE JUST BOUGHT A NEW G 21SF I AM HAPPY WITH THE PISTOL AND IT WORKS GREAT BUT I FEEL THERE IS MUCH ROOM TO IMPROVE ....LIKE STEEL GUIDE ROAD AND THIS AND THAT ...I DONT REALLY NO WHAT I SHOULD CHANGE NOR DO I WANT TO COMPROMISE WHAT GLOCKS ARE KNOWN 4 THERE REALIBILITY... SO HOW REALIBLE ARE THESE AFTER MARKET PARTS AND WHICH ONES SHOULD I GET AND WHERE ...IN SHORT HOW DO I MAKE THE ULTIMATE GLOCK :sniper:

First thing, turn your caps lock off.

Second, don't #### with it. Buy ammo and shoot it.

Edit: Third, if it's got the stock plastic sights, you may want to consider changing them for steel ones.

At least put a couple of thousand rounds through it, that way it'll some of the newness knocked off it and you'll have figured out if anything bugs you about it. There's no need to change anything (except maybe those plastic sights) unless it really bugs you.

The sights suck. Steel sight are the only way to go. Personally, I don't care for the stock recoil spring or plastic guide rod. I use a stainless steel rod(not that stainless steel matters) and a 20 pound spring. I've never had an issue with either. The spring gets changed fairly regular, atleast once a year or so, sooner if its getting weak. I've shot approximtely 27,000 rounds through my Glock 17 with zero failures attributed to the pistol. Bad ammo, or intentional failures for training, yes.

I agree that you should shoot it some before you 'play' with it. This way you'll 'break in' the pistol and get a feel for it and can better decide what you want to change. If it works for you, why f^ck with it. For me....I'm relatively content with my G17 the way it came out of the box. The only change I made was a 3.5 lb disconnector and I'm not 100% on the change. I find the trigger 'lighter' but it lost some crispness/feel that the stock 5 lb disconnector had--this observation is purely subjective because I know others who swear by the 3.5 lb disconnector. The big lesson here is not all mods on the market may be to your taste or liking despite accolades and promises of better performance. The factory sights are 'cheap' but I still shoot well with them so I won't replace them unless they get fubared. It's a range gun but if I was able to use it for CCW or as a duty firearm I'd change them over to steel sights. YMMV.....enjoy your new toy!!!

The best accessory I found for my glock21sf, was the RCBS rockchucker supreme. Cuts your cost in 4 once you have your brass. Shoot 4 times as much, that's a useful accessory.

100% agreed! my G17 shoot well right out of the box. Spend money on ammo, or better, on reloading equipement and don't mess with the pistol.

+3 on that.

Except the sights. Go Savigny Carry made by Warren Tactical.

Or Hienie Rear sights for Glock with a Dawson Precision fibre optic front sight. And i think RePete means Sevigny sights from Warren which are very good also.

The 21SF does not have as much aftermarket support for some items as the standard frame glocks do.
My current setup on my 22C (3rd gen)is the following,

Extended slide stop
Extended take down lever
Extended mag. release
Recoil buffer
Tungsten guide rod with captive recoil spring (17lb)
Titanium Striker
Wolf 4lb striker spring
Titanium safety plugger (polished as well)
TruGlo TFO sights
Aluinum trigger
3.5lb disconnector (polished)
overtravel stop
decal grips (rubber style) might have the frame stippled later
Dawson Precision 6.5oz magwell with slug-plug

I see absolutely no issue with working a glock to make it suite your specific purpose. I think that having something that I have to work extra to have work for me isnt quite right. But each to there own.

One mod that you really should do is the .25cent trigger job. It makes a huge difference. My trigger pull went from 12lbs to 7lbs just from doing it. I then got the spring kit and that brought the trigger pull done to about 4.5lbs. Now it's really smooth, crisp and much lighter. I also added a bunch of cosmetic stuff just for fun. Since we don't have CCW here then I may as well have fun with it.
Here's what I've done to it so far:
.25cent trigger job
polished barrel
3 spring kit
3 pin chrome kit
chrome extended slide stop
extended mag release
punisher slide cover
truglo tfo sights
aa .22lr conversion kit (polished)

So here are some pics to show ya what it all looks like.
