I am looking for custom stocks for my new Ruger 10/22 and I don't know where to look? Is there any places in Canada that I can get stocks, custom triggers, scopes and all of the other things that I would need?

Any help would be excellent...Thank you

What kind of things are you looking for? Black rifle kits? Fancy wood stocks? What sort of conversion are you looking to do?

There isn't really a one stop shop in Canada for aftermarket Ruger accessories. You have to shop around. Barrel choices are extremely limited in Canada so you may have to compromise or buy used.

In addition to Nine's list:
TacShot.ca
FabSports.ca

I apologize for highjacking the thread, but I want to do the same thing and I was wondering if you can use the OEM barrel with many of these aftermarket stocks?

I can't think of an aftermarket stock where you couldn't run the OEM barrel, but it may not look "right" (i.e.: the gaps around a tapered barrel might look kinda weird if the stock's barrel channel is cut out for a bull barrel). You couldn't use the OEM barrel with a Krinker Kit, but that doesn't really count since the barrel is sold as part of the kit.

Here's my Nordic stocked 10-22 running the factory barrel (for now). I had the end threaded to accept a standard flash hider, but there are Ruger specific flash hiders that just slip overtop of the factory sight band too.

DAMN that is nice!

Other than the scope and flash hider, is that a complete kit? If so, where did you get it and how much?

There are a couple of threads on here regarding the Nordic kits and PC9 has one of the nicest - look for a thread started by him with the word 'Tacticool' in it.

The Nordic kit just comes with what is wrapped around the receiver (the rail is built in). You have to buy an AR stock, AR grip, and the AR freefloat handguard in addition to the Nordic kit. I don't think any Canadian retailers have the Nordic kits in right now so you'd have to order one out of the U.S..
