Help with new red dot options

Hey everyone, im looking at getting a p230 rxf xfull with the sig romeo 1 on it, anyone have experience with the romeo 1? The good? The bad? The ugly?

Any other suggestions would be nice too, im also getting a m&p1 thats not cut for a red dot but i might put one on it eventually
 
Holosun with industry ground-breaking ACSS (Advanced Combat Sighting System) reticle. This is the only option you should consider as a new red dot shooter.
 
Thanks guys. I ended up buying a gen5 glock 17 with a vortex reddot mounted so i will mess with that and then look at holosun options after i decide i want to keep using a dot
