Help with pricing on father in laws collection

The rifle chest for the 22 could fetch $100 to $125. While it appears solid enough, it has been repainted and has no stencilling. Price may be lower depending on what all those marks are on the front....mold or simply light dirt. . The cleaning rod inside could fetch another $60......sell it separate.

Personally I think the targets are negligable in value...maybe $10 to $20 to the right collector.

Could be up to $100 on the rod. So few sell on their own it's hard to say, but it's a must have to complete the set.

I put up about 6 complete sets of the rod with the 4 attachments at $110 and they sold out quickly with a waiting list behind the buyers.

There is white stenciling under the paint, I used some paint thinner and wiped some off and this is what I found:
CGB 7148
CHEST Mk 1 22 in C No 7 RIFLE

I also have more rods with wooden and lead handles, also came with a handful of the brass attachments that I have not got to yet. I will try to get them out and take a pic.

There was never any question that it was a .22 chest. Were it a Enfield sniper chest you would see $500 or more, and a Cdn sniper chest would be above that yet. But it is a lowly .22 chest, and there are still plenty of them out there, although they are no longer the $10 box they were 15 years ago. With the number of put-together rifles baing assembled these days, demand exists for these chests.

If you have more of the rods with the oval wooden heads, and the 4 attachments to go with them, (loop, jag, bronze brush and nylon brush), then I would try and list them on the EE for $125 a set. I'm pretty sure they would sell. I recently came into a number of the loops, and sold a decent number of them off at $10 each.

Hmmm....I'm 1.5 hours from Canmore!

Here is the cleaning rod and ends that were is a box.

I think the two bigger ones with cords are for a Enfield .303?
There is also two cleaning kits that I'm not sure what they are as there are no markings.
The rod in the small card board box is made from wood.

The two green plastic kits were from the C1 (Sterling) 9mm submachine gun. Not worth much dollar wise, maybe $20 on a good day, but nice little kits if you are working with that caliber or you can change the brushes out for .308 from the FN kit.

The cardboard boxed one is not military.

A couple of the pullthroughs are from the Enfields, and are worth $5 each. The white pullthroughs are from the SMG kits.
