I have Ruger PCC. my first and i did all mcarbo upgrades and its super super cool in firing.

but its expensive.. as 9mm ammo may be cheaper compared to many other rifle ammo but not whole lot.

Rim fire .22 ammo seems dirt cheap and for rifle, Derya TM - 22 got many votes. Price is good too.

On research fellow gunnutz selling his unfired one for 550 with 25 round mag (additional to 2 x 10 round comes with the purchase)

if i get it from irungun canada, its 480 or so without the 25 rd mag. Which i can buy outside for 70$

So my question really is,

Is it worth to buy TM- 22 for having fun at the range for cheaper ammo ?

Will you buy from EE or from a dealer ?

TIA

I bought mine from IRUNGUNS, I prefer the stock they have on their guns & it was a bit cheaper.

I did have to wait for it to be imported as well BUT they are now available at the Canadian IRUNGUNS site...

I saw that Slavex is testing out the : "New TM22 from Phil O'Dell testing tomorrow. Updated model with the safety being flipped down like other guns, to shoot."

I'll be looking to get that new safety as soon as it's available for my rifle. IMHO flicking the safety up to fire is completely un-natural!

No one that I know of yet.

I imagine the new guns will come with the new corrected safety & at some point hopefully, they will become available for purchase...

interesting. but only new inventory will be fixed i assume ? so even irunguns.ca will have old one.

Is the one on the EE the older model without the full length handguard and adjustable stock? Assuming the models are the same it pretty much looks like a wash pricewise (about $550 for each if you buy the 25 round mag for the IRG model).

I will say that i am very impressed with mine so far (full handguard/adjustable stock model). Excellent trigger, no FTF/FTEs, pretty much all metal so nice solid construction and has very good accuracy for a plinker level rifle. Lots of positive reviews online.

The only things I don't like are the price of the mags which seem excessive and the only specific accessory available so far (the Dlask enlarged charging handle) is also really pricey ($50 + shipping & tax). BTW I'm knocking the Dlask quality but that's a lot of money for a small piece of machined metal.

i dont know? is there a another version which has full handguard ?

EDIT: Looks like FOC had the one with full handguard. https://www.firearmsoutletcanada.com/derya-tm22-semi-auto-rifle--22lr-18--blk-tm22-18-.html

but all other places i dont see it. even in irunguns.ca

I did my research. Any advantage in the adjustable and full hand guard version? As they are significantly expensive compared to irungun. With sfrc promo of 14% discount, it’s about 600 to my door. 480 from irungun

The full handguard offers a little more room for accessories like sights and bipods and the adjustable stock gives more flexibility to fit a variety of body sizes.

Interestingly the prices seem to be the same for both models (between $549-$599). I bought a black, long handguard model at Marstar for $549 but the better deal (which I found out about later :() was at SFRC which had it for $549 less 16% which worked out to $521 + shipping.

IRG doesn't appear to have the full handguard/adjustable stock model.

ya irungun is cheaper because of their business model rest all across canada its the same price. Except for SFRC which kind of nullifies ontario tax. right now i dont see it for 549. its 599 now.

UPDATE:
any idea about the LITE version ? without m-lok guard ? picture has it though.

this is dirt cheap. comparatively.

Several places had the black updated model for $549 (colours were higher priced) but they all seem to be sold out of them right now.

$182 on US site vs. $312 on the Canadian site? Is that right? Seems like a huge difference even taking the import fee into account.

Another thing to consider is the magazines. Most sellers seem to be including just one. I found one that included two ten round magazines. However, was from a non-sponsor of this site.

Only seem to be 25 round mags for sale for around $70.

Something to think about.

yes. but it says lite version. im not sure what is the difference. This is the only picture i found in the usa websites. May be its without m-lok. Irunguns site has different picture.

I prefer not to mail order anything that I could see/handle in person if it didn't involve too much of a drive. Tenda is about a 30 minute drive from where I live and with so many good food options around there....I don't mind the drive. They're showing some of these guns, and have sales often;

https://www.gotenda.com/?s=derya&post_type=product

I've never held one of these and nobody I know owns one. Reviews seem to be favorable. I tend to shy away from Turkish guns but may be eating those words soon. lol I've satisfied my own concerns about parts availability, firing pins etc. with the gun I'm looking at. For 22 semis, I might be more inclined to look at domestically made guns if only FOR aftermarket support, parts, etc. but I can see the appeal of these Deyras too. A buddy has one of their MK12's that chugs away like a well-oiled machine..or DID before it hit Trudeau's no-no list.

I've held both a Ruger SR-22 rifle and a Remington 597 VTR (never owned or shot them) and I'd be inclined to head in one of those directions if I'm ever after a black 22.

Picked mine up from Wild West Shooting in Edmonton about 2 weeks ago, safety has been fixed, down to fire now. There is also an extended and much better charging handle available from DLASK ARMS..

Yes buy one, you won't regret it...

When I bought my black long handguard version from Marstar a few weeks back it came with 2 mags. Now I see that the short handguard versions are still listed with two mags but the white long handguard version is only listed with one mag. Don't know what's up with that.

I bought mine the beginning of Feb from IRUNGUNS USA & got it March 29th after importing, if memory serves.

Friggen sucks that the newest guns have the fixed safety & I'll have to 'fix' mine at some point @ additional cost.

Waiting on Canada Post for my extended charging handle from DLASK
