Help with recognizing my inheritance.

Almost need to create a Canadian category called "moose gun" or something like that - bazillion of No. 1, No. 4, P14, M1917 were bought cheap, cheap, cheap, especially after WWII, and stocks hacked off at kitchen tables all across the country. And used to take literal train loads of moose, deer, bear and elk. Perfectly suitable hunting rifle to get meat. Like earlier post says, they are, or should be, in every Canadian's closet!!!

Sad to hear that wifey calls the shots on what you own and want to keep. Maybe, if you lived in a one room house!

well I can understand the issues with the wife.

but then I have around 100 guns :)

your 2 enfields are a little better then average a 1912 RSAF Enfield, and a 43 Longbranch with uncut barrel

if you listed them at $200 each I suspect they would sell in hours, they would be worth a lot more if they were more complete, and missing the mag, and the MkIII not matching is an issue.

they both look like good candidates for restoration and you should not have any problems selling them.
