Help with removing CZ-858 stock

If you look inside the back of the reciever where the bolt screws in, some of them have had the thread peaned. I didn't have a hope in hell removing mine without completely monkeying up the threads, so I sold it to buy one with the folding stock already.

You ladies have weak hands ;)

Get one of those long heavy flathead $16 screwdrivers from home depot or wherever. They're good for any guns with bolts deep in the stocks. I've used it on all my enfields and 4 CZ 858's, takes some muscle, but you can do it if you put your mind to it.

I tried that and it just stripped the screw down completeley. :(

Did that to a really beat up enfield once, the screwdriver was too small. The one I've got now has a flatground end and fits most of those heavy bolts just about perfectly.

Well, after a couple of lame attempts I finally got the stock off. I ended up just taking it to my local shop (Reliable) on the recommendation of one of the guys that works there. They got it off in about 30 seconds using an impact wrench. They've done a whole bunch of them there, and are pretty adept at it these days. Shane was telling me, there is no way this particular one would have come off with a tire iron or giant screwdriver or anything like that. Every one is on there a bit differently, this one was on there good.

Anyway, here is the finished product on the wood-kit build:
