Help with Troy TRX rail attachments

So I have a Troy PAR in .308 that has a TRX front hand guard/rail. I bough a 2” QARS Rail section to attach to the rail- but cannot figure out how to do it! I’ve read the instructions, but there’s raised ribbed material on the inside bordering each mounting hole!

Surely someone here has a Troy Alpha rail on their AR, or a PAR... how do you attach the accessories to the holes?

I believe the latest Gen handguard doesn’t accept the rail sections.
The newest Gen PAR’s doesn’t have the grooves inside the handguard.
Is your Par a new Gen?

It should be new, I bought it in April from IRG.

Why would they make it that no rail attachments could go on? Seems counterproductive. Here’s a couple pics. It’s just the last hole on the underside I need to mount for a bipod.

Hey I have the same challenge (adding a bipod).. did you ever find a source for rails given the alpha TRX requirement on these Troys? It seems no one has stock and there is an issue with suppliers not having or getting any.

In my never ending quest to get mine shooting straight I did find a source. bit of a pain bacause these guys can take months to get things over the border but
