Same can be said for a Gretzky rookie card. At the end of the day it is just a hockey card.
I actually think that seeing the Eaton’s reference on the package adds to the history and collect ability of the gun.
Makes it a Canadian collectable not just a collectable gun. Just like Cooey’s are old beat up shotguns that sell for more than u can buy a new single shot for. They are a part of our history and people want to own one for that reason.
 
Update: The gun was sold to a Parker Hale collector that was ecstatic to add it to his collection. He says it is a true information piece that he displays prominently in his home.
This is an individual that should own this gun. He has sent a few pictures of he and his buddies discussing his purchase over a few whiskeys.
