Hi all.

So, I was left a couple of rifles, including this old Ruger M77 Mark II (all weather model), chambered in 338 win mag.

I don't plan on keeping it and intend to list it on the EE, but I don't know how to ask a reasonable price for it. Folks here who understand the gun's general value, your input would be appreciated. Serial # lookup indicates she was built in 1993, to the best of my knowledge.
(and yes, I know the scope has little to no value).

Thanks very much.

The rifle is in poor condition, and the .338 WM is not a desirable cartridge for many buyers, the stock is a mess too... I would hate to see the condition of the metal under the stock and the bolt. I have sold two M77-R Mark II Stainless .338's in the past couple months, and several more have sold on the EE in the past six months. Mine were in MINT condition and went for $750 shipped in a Boatpaddle stock and $785 shipped in a laminate stock. Others sold for $650ish in Excellent condition... and did not sell quickly. I would not buy yours personally, but if you find a Paddle stock fan you might get $450 - $500... it may be listed awhile at $500 though.

Can never get Photobucket to work right. But from what i can tell the stock is a bit rough.

Either you love or hate those stocks. I had one in a 300. About the same age. No give in them. Always liked the this stainless vs the gun metal grey though.

Scope is worthless. $500-550.
