I just replaced my scope rings on my BRNO 600 with Warne Maxima QD's.

I clamped the rings onto my B&L 3200 by lightly tightening the 4 Torx screws. I then set the rings onto the BRNO rails and moderately tightened the levers by hand. I positioned the scope for proper eye relief and then re-torqued the 4 Torx screws in the rings hand tight.

I haven't applied any Loctite.

Now I can't seem to undo the levers. I have applied a fair amount of force to them and they won't budge.

Any advice? I'd hate to break them before trying them out at the range.

back off the top screws, that should let you get the levers off.

Starting over with the scope off and rings loose;

-tighten the bottom two screws as tight as possible, leave the top ones loose

-install the scope onto the rifle and tighten the levers firmly with the rings corresdtly located on the bridges. You should still be able to move the scope in the rings.

-adjust scope for eye relief and vertical/horizontal alignment

-tighten the top screws

Most Warnes and Talleys you install the rings onto the scope, and the rings should be loose on the scope with the top two screws backed off.

Then you install the assembly onto the bases or bridge and the scope should still be able to move.

No?
