Local neighbour has a post 64 model 70 Winchester in 257 Roberts. Gun has been hunted and has the odd bump and scuff, but he describes it being in very nice condition, which I don’t doubt, he looks after his stuff. I don’t have a photo of it yet, but he asked for help with a ball park value if he was to sell.

Thanks, Gallen270

I'll second Sgt.rock these don't being in much value. Not very desirable. Now if it was a war time model 70 he would be able to get a few bucks out of it.

The ceiling might even be 50-100 higher for a real Bob fan. I just love quarter bores. My 25-06rem is great. There is nothing wrong with these guns accuracy wise. My most accurate centerfire hunting rifle was a .308win mod70 from about 1977.

It would probably be a featherweight, as I believe that was the only post 64 model 70 that was produced in 257 Roberts.
They are desirable if it is good shape.
A picture would be nice.
I know this is not the EE but if he interested in selling it PM me.
