So, I just started to reload some 9mm on my Lee Pro 1000. This is my first time using the press. I have cycled a few pieces of brass through it with no primers or powder just to see how everything worked.

I just tried to load some ammo for the first time and I've got trouble already. The first piece went through the resize fine, and primed fine, then on the second stroke with one piece in the powder die and one in the resize die and it locked up. If I pull up on the handle to lower the ram just the ram comes down, everything else stays up there.

As the title says...............Help Please!

What did the pro 1000 run you at anyways?? I was looking at them recently, IIRC, I leaned away from it because of the 3 die limitation.

I think it was around $235 with all the dies ready to run.

I just finished loading 60 rounds and it seems to be working fine. Only one foul up after I got it working and that was my fault. I didn't fully seat 1 primer.

HeHeHe, that is kind of funny, in that, I can picture something like that happening to me. Just seems sometimes, like something HAS to go wrong. At least it was something easy to fix. I lol'd :)
