Just putting it out there. Is there anyone who shoots at Silverdale, or close to the GTA who can help me out? Here's the story; I have a good buddy who's a client and just getting into shooting and hunting. He was a soldier in Poland many years ago, so he's not unfamiliar with firearms. I'm a qualified RSO at CFB Borden Rod, but due to the stupidity of a few members, we're no longer allowed guests. Is there someone who can sponsor us for lets say Sun. 30 Oct.? I've got 45 yrs. in shooting, so I promise not to embarass you. Needless to say, I'll spend most of my time mentoring the newbie. Thanks in advance.

I'm a member, but I thought non-members were good to go on a weekend, provided they paid the weekend non-member fee of $20. Alternately, I think Silverdale offers a reduced rate for people who want to join late in the year, and their membership is already pretty reasonable.
If I didn't think I'd be busy, I wouldn't mind helping you out, always looking for an excuse to head out.
