there are three different manufacturers markings on canadian produced helmets of ww11. an overseas combat helmet Would be marked with CL/C, a year of manufacture, and a batch number. cl/c stands for canadian motor lamp company. these helmets were made from non magnetic manganese steel, and the rivettes which hold the chinstrap lugs protrude through the brim of the helmet. the second manufacturer's marks would be G.S.W. DP& H. this stands for general steel wares - department of persions and health. these were issued in canada to orginizations such as arp. they were made of mild magnetic carbon steel, and the chin strap lugs are welded to the underside of the brim. the third potential manufacturer's marks would be agc, which stood for aluminum good canada. their helmets were issued mostly to the r.c.a.f. the linings of the helmets should be marked with VMC, a year, and a size. vmc stood for viceroy manufacturing company. if by chance this helmet is of british manufacture the body could be marked R.O. & CO, which stands for rubery owen and company. i seeme to me that wilson motor bodies also made british steel helmets. i agree with the prices as listed by mtallman. hope this helps
