Henry .22 lever action rifles -hit or miss?

The old lever Ithicas were made in West Germany, then sent to the Ithica Plant in Dunnville, Ont., for assembly. One of the first places closed by Pierre Trudeau's 70s Gun Control actions. A local fellow, I believe worked at the factory, bought up all the Ithica parts. He is still around, selling the parts, but I hear he's been sick.
In addition, the father of the owner of Henry Repeating Arms was involved somehow with the old Ithica Arms Co., and therefore the Model 72.
