Henry .22 LR feed issue

I have a new Henry GB in .22 LR. It is my first new rifle and I am very happy with it. I have 500 or so rounds through it and have cleaned and oiled it after each use. I have run CCI, Remington Subsonics, Golden Bullets and Winchester Wildcats through it with no issues. I managed to find the last brick of Winchester X in southern NB only to find out the Henry does not like them. It frequently tries to jamb them over top of the barrel.
Should I just accept that it doesn't like this ammo and feed it something else or should I return it to the dealer ( 2 plus hour drive each way) for repair. What's your thoughts ?
 
Hollow points are going to be more susceptible to jamming , it happened to me and my Henry last time I was shooting it , I gave it a little spritz of G96 on the feed ramp and no more problems for the rest of the day.

G96 is a synthetic gun lubricant (actually claims it is a "CLP" - clean lubricate protect - product). My small town LGS carries it, and so do a few of the mail order outfits (and Amazon Canada, I believe).

Certain brands of hollow point Jam up some of my guns while they run amazingly well in others. Gotta tell ya, I love my Henry! This jamming issue, well, i actually think your gun is 100% messed up and will never work again properly. I'll buy it as a parts gun off you for $50 ;)

Seriously, I have hollow point jams with certain brands in most of my .22s. Hard to keep track of what likes what. For the most part federal and the 'new' remington buckets seem to be good in all (save the 715 flatop which, for a cheap gun, only wants the round nose HV stuff).

My Henry has had 1 FTF with shorts, the second shot it ever fired. Otherwise it was flawless in every regard. Just use that ammo up in another 22 and if you don't have one buy one. I mean, you can't let that nice ammo go to waste!
