Okay guys. Here's a chance to share your expertise. My buddy handed me this the other day and said to see if I could find out the history of this old shot gun.
It is marked Henry Boker. Marked Remo-Popular in script and made in Germany. Nitro is on the barrel.
It is a two shot gun. One in the magazine and one in the chamber. It will chamber 12 gauge 2 3/4" ammo.
I fired a primed hull in it. 29 inch barrel. I believe the stock is a replacement.
There has been some crude fitting and repairs on the stock.
Any info would be appreciated.
The initials O.R.P. are on the top of the breach. Previous owner???
Thanks...STew...

These were inexpensive guns made during the hard economic times in Germany during the '20s and '30s.
They were contemporaries of the Geha shotguns. The Gehas were reworked G98s, the Remos were originals.
Must have been imported in large numbers, they do turn up with some frequency. Value is nominal.

That one is rough. Try to google the name (I did), lots of info. Some pages in Swedish - just click on top in your chrome browser and it will translate it for you. Value is very low.
