It's wierd how many new accounts with single digit post counts and zero trader ratings suddenly appear in threads like these spreading their political BS. I assume it's just one loser who tries to make his opinion look less unpopular.

The Ukrainian wars of independence in 1917-1921 were fought by time traveling Nazis now? Interesting. About the only way that phrase could have Nazi origins since it predates the Third Reich by a few decades. Or was Teras Shevchenko a time traveling Nazi when he wrote it in 1840?

But go ahead and keep telling me about reality.

Well no, that's nonsensical. How cn you compare the Buddhists using the Swastika to a slogan that was literally adopted while fighting a Russian invasion a century ago, remaining prominent because of continued Russian aggression? Either way, you said "origins" and not "currently used by some people who have Nazi ideals". "Origins" means how it started, and its origins have nothing to do with Nazism.

Although I consider the Ukrainian forces allowing the Nazi patches/displays to be as disgusting as the Trucker protests allowing Nazism in their midst. Doesn't mean I don't support the independence of Ukraine and the millions of people there as a whole from an aggressive neighbour who continues to invade them and has, in the last 100 years, killed millions of them. As for the Nazi symbols etcI have no problem saying that its reprehensible at all. So, there goes your point.

Are people really supposed to be such charicatures that something like this makes them cope and seethe? Odd.

The other reason I use that sig is because it makes people ##### about it and that amuses me, as this does.

Origins mean how it started, so technically the phrase started when the Ukrainian language came to exist, and the first person spoke the words, not during the time period you mentioned. See how being a hyper technically smart ass works? The phrase came into POPULAR use when it was promoted by the Nazis to bolster many volunteer Ukrainian forces against the soviets. There's some cool info about Ukrainian SS (giving you the benefit of the doubt and assuming you know what the SS was) volunteers settling in England and Canada after the war too, many many thousands in fact.

The question remains why you support a group full neo nazis and holocaust deniers, while condemning a group that demonstrably had far less? Funny hypocrisy. And yes new accounts with low post counts, again if you want to be HYPER technically in order to feel like you won a few have DOUBLE digit post counts thanks to their continued spamming. But there are some with single digits, have a few clicks through the thread, but yeah your support of nazism is honestly alot more concerning than that minutia.

Funny enough Trudeau met with a well known holocaust denier on his trip to Kiev! Pretty cool tidbit of information!

What group full of neo nazis and holocaust deniers do I support? The dozens of millions of people in the Ukraine and its right to exist as a distinct nation? Yeah. I can do that while calling them out for the visable Nazism in their armed forces and society. There is no excuse. I can hold both of those views at once.

Can you do the same for the truckers? I mean it should be pretty easy to say what I just did, that you support their cause but it was disgusting and reprehensible that they allowed Nazism to be a part of it :) Dare ya! And that's not even getting into the whole "Bear Hug MOU" thing.

I really don't care who Trudeau meets or doesn't meet anywhere.

To recap, I can say the Armed Forces of the Ukraine has absolutely no excuse for that....and you still can't about the truckers. Yes. Excellent recap.

Yep we agree, you have no excuse for supporting your group (because it has battalions of nazis) and i do have an excuse for supporting the group i like (because they have no actual nazis unless you exclusively consoom CBC)

No, not quite. I think what I do because of the words of people high up in the movement...from their own mouths.

And it hasn't been productive here, sadly. I haven't heard anyone actually bring themselves to condemn such elements within the movement the support, or its clumsy attempt to seize government power. Didn't expect today to bring about the first.

And they tried to take power within Canada's govt. Awesome lol. I'd focus as much as I could on the Ukraine and nonsense about the origin of language too lol.

High up Canadian holocaust denier signed the MOU that would have given the Operation Bear Hug crew a seat in power after their blockade. It was right on their website and not in the MSM so you may have seen it ;)
