Henry Lever .22's

Better grab one quick. They are going up in price. I looked at one on Wednesday. Price was $349.99. Today, it is listed at $459.99!

Feeling lucky now that I paid $359.99 for one. I now have two. A Golden Boy, which I bought for the kids, but am now keeping for myself! And a standard youth size lever that is now for them.

They are a lot of fun to shoot!

Nice pair ..I should have bought another when they were less..

I've shot a friend's Browning a few times. Each time I pick it up reminding myself that it's got that crazy short lever stroke. And each time I forget and snap it forward expecting the full meal deal only to slam to a stop and bruise the backs of my fingers.

By any measure the Browning is a lovely gun.... but it's not a good choice for anyone that shoots a variety of "proper" long stroke lever guns like I do. I'd either have continuous bruising on my fingers or, worse, I'd get used to the short stroke and end up short stroking my other lever guns during matches. So a Browning just isn't for me. And I see this same sentiment for the same reason given by a lot of other lever lovers.

With the Canadian dollar down in the sub .75 cent range,I guess it's inevitable that once the old stock is gone, the new ones will be $100 more...I was looking at a Frontier model,it's gone but they have a couple of regular models still at $359...
