Henry Lever Action Supreme. Catch anyone else’s eye?

Yes I'm aware of all this.

I was just trying to confirm that altering a mag designed to fit only in bolt/lever guns not in semi auto's appears to be legal. At least that's how I interpret the laws.

Am I correct in my interpretation of the law or am I missing something?

But as soon as that mag that you altered fits into any auto rifle it is now illegal. It is the mags that are legal or not, so altering a legal mag to make it illegal is counter productive.

Hence why you can alter the mag well and still stay on the legal side of things.

You can take the dlask 25 round 10/22 mag and as soon as you cut off that extra protrusion it is now rendered illegal, doesn't matter what you say you are using it in. The mag itself is illegal.

Taking a legal mag, and using it to hold other ammunition for what it was not originally manuf for is still legal as well. As long as it holds the max amount that it was manuf for in the caliber it was made for.

Yea I know stupid Can laws, but they are as they are, for now.

The biggest question now is does it require an FTR to get into Canada?

Very cool! I'm waiting for the .223 version to show up to add a couple to my collection. A 300 BLK lever action could fill the 30-30 lever action role in some scenarios.
