Henry lever peep sight?

I might get away with the standard front sight, if I use the Skinner peep sight

The Skinner peep sight I installed on my Henry Big Boy works very well with the standard front sight.

The only downside are the Canadian customs. The last Skinner sight was stuck with customs in Mississauga for 3 months. Mississauga is a real Blackhole!

Quite possibly yes. But, like you said the CBSA gun-jail is a pain in the butt.......:(

Having an American shipping address, if one lives within driving distance to the States is a real time saver. And makes a nice get away with your loved ones......:)

WOW !
The skinner sight is on an "odyssey", from Montana, to Washingtom, to California, last seen in Los Angeles.
At this pace it will arrive in the fall, considering that the Mississauga custom guys, will take turns looking at it for another 3 months.

From my personnal experience, if you want to add a Skinner sight to your Henry, you will probably have to put a higher front sight post.

With the Williams sight, it is not required.

Received the sight yesterday, and installed it immediately.
Today, at the range, I adjusted the sight with several types of ammo, and as expected,
it is spot on a 50 yards, therefore no different front sight needed.

This is my second Skinner sight, the other one is on a Henry Big Boy in 357 magnum, and again it works perfectly with the standard front sight.
I both cases, I did not even have to remove the rear sight, I like that.

To sum it up, I am very impressed with the Skinner sights, while not cheap (especially with our weak CAD), these sights are of the highest manufacturing quality, easy to install and use, and make your gun much more accurate and fun to shoot
