I have one I bought new several months ago and it has a plastic front sight. Maybe I should call Henry and see if I can get a metal one. Any pics of the metal one?

Anyone know how many rounds you can put these rifles before they 'wear out'?
 
My sight where right on without adjustment. if you need to adjust the windage, use a brass or aluminum punch to move the rear sight side to side.
