This rifle has come to my attention. I can find none in Canada present time. What do you think of this gun? Say compared to the Browning BLR say? Worth buying? I would prefer 270 Win but likely go .308 or maybe 6.5 but not likely. Just have as a deer hunting gun, like I need another hunting gun haha...

i think that rifle would do well with something like a 338 federal. it looks like its a marlin action, so i would think its reliability should be very good. seems very simple, designwise. i would opt for a shorter case, think it would cycle a little quicker. on the other hand, a blr in 358 seems to be much loved by those who own them. i'd say you will be well served by either.
I have been casually looking at them as well. I have had several Browning BLR steel receivers in the past, when they went to the aluminum, I lost interest in them-just not my thing. I would love one in a 338 Federal or a 358 Winchester, but like you I don't need another hunting rifle, my needs are very well covered with a 45-70, 280AI, 6.5CM, 222 and a 243.
