Henry Mares Leg 22LR

I recently picked up a Henry Mares Leg in 22lr. I've read of people buying a full stock from Henry direct. If anyone who has ordered from them happens to read this, did you have to be discrete in your request? Up here its a non-issue legally, but down in the States it changes a pistol to a SBR which requires a tax stamp. I'm assuming that H001 stock fits a H001ML? Thinking could buy a replacement stock to fit a H001 (full size rimfire rifle) and skirt any non-applicable US law questions that way. Thanks for the input.

If you email Henry they will give you a part number to order. Once they figure out that you live in Canada they don't have an issue with selling you something direct. The following is from an email inquiry I sent them about the exact same thing

Based on your area code, it appears you're located in Canada where ownership of that configuration is not restricted.

If so, you can order the stock(part # HL2251) from the 866 Customer Service # below and I believe they're $50USD + freight.

I am looking to buy a full length stick for my mates leg as well, is there any source for these in Canada?

What good is a thread without pictures. Before and after; swapped the front sight for a Hi-Viz, blanked the buckhorn and added a rear Skinner H001. Full stock came quick and cheap from Henry, and 6' of paracord for the lever.

Henry would not sell to me. Said I had to go through there importer. I did this and have the full length stock. I honestly cant remember who it was, maybe blueline? But I called them and placed the order through them.

Its 30 3/4" now; will have to check Henry's website for the original length. Sure feels good in the hand at this size, and the new sight radius should help accuracy.

How’s that skinner? I put a Williams peep on my Hoo1 and I’m having a bear of a time installing it and making it shoot well again. I put a taller high viz sight on the front but I think the accuracy has got worse from the factory sights!

The model of Skinner I used is quite low, so I'm hopeful it will be quite accurate. Unfortunately haven't had a chance to take it out yet, winter has set in here.
