henry mares leg

Looking to purchase a henry 44 mag mares leg. Not sure if this is the right spot. If someone can point me in the right direction that would be great
 
Proper placement would be rifles as it is a non-restricted rifle in Canada...

Haven't seen a Henry in a while, saw a Rossi a while ago but that was in .357

The mares leg is actually considered a pistol. Says it right on the box. Thanks yeah I havn't had any luck finding one here in sudbury, ON

In the USA it is considered a pistol in order to circumvent the American rules on short barrelled rifles. In Canada it is considered a rifle.

I see it listed as 25" on the website, but wouldn't being under 26 overall make it a restricted? Like putting a pistol grip on a 8.5" barrelled 870? That still requires two hands to function. Are the Canadian models an inch longer?

No, under 26" does not make it restricted. No, the canadian models aren't an inch longer.... The chiapia ones are an inch shorter again.

The 8.5" 870 is a different can of worms all together. In fact, on the frt for the grizzlys it says "MAY be restricted with pistol grip". Even our great RCMP doesn't know the answer to that.

How right you are about the RCMP I have the Circuit judge . It's restricted class is a hand gun. But Uberti has made revolver single action carbines for years, Non restricted
Figure that one out LOL

That is yet another issue. The RCMP claims that the circuit judge is a hand gun because it uses the same fame as their revolvers.
