I love the way they look. Physically, they're absolutely stunning and the workmanship is second to none. Smooth as butter, too. My only apprehensions are 1. the front loading procedure and 2.Too heavy for their caliber. It'd be like having a Honda Civic that weighed 5000 pounds. The allure of the lever is its lightness. My Winchesters are like, 6 pounds. That thing is heavier than my 590A1. But apparently the balance is so good it alleviates the concern of weight. And I am a huge sucker for octagonal barrels.

Nice rifle JP. They be heavy for their size despite using Henry's "Brass Lite" alloy fer the receiver. Good, solid actions & nice walnut stocks along with accurate barrels and quality manufacture.

Time to pound a pile of ammo through 'er to break 'er in.

I don't like shiny brass on a gun (it's a personal choice) but I really like the look of a brass frame with a nice patina like the Winchester below. Also I don't understand why Henry use a brass barrel band.

Octagon barrel, brass receiver, American walnut furniture and one of the slickest actions in the market and considering that it is made in the US... these are very high quality and great value rifles. If I had to sell, this would be one of the last guns on my list. They are really that good and truth be told, you really have to own one to really appreciate or have an opinion about them. Physically put one of these beside any rifle on the market and you'll know what Henry owners are talking about.
