Just unboxed my Henry Big Boy 357 mag 38 Spl, after getting my 22 mag, i decided to get in a Big Boy in 357 Mag, this rifle is just a piece of beauty and the action is sooo snug, trigger is very good, rifle is heavy and the sights have to be one of the best set of open sights, now that i saw this and you will see it to, the same rifles in 30-30 and 44 mag are shining in a near future... JP.

I had an h001 but couldn't get pas the painted receiver but that is nice.

This is not brass plated, it is solid pure brass, that explain the 8.75 pounds... JP.

Took a boxe of rounds in 357 mag and loaded the rifle 11 fit in it, tried all manner to have a jam, fast cycling, slow cycling, upside down cycling, sideway cycling, left and right cycling, muzzle up cycling, muzzle down cyclyng, stop in the middle cycling, not had a single failure in over 100 cycles... This is a great reliable smooth mecanik... JP.

Did not shoot my 357 Mag yet, but a couples a week ago i did shoot my 22 mag Henry octogonal barrel and this is why i bought one in 357 Mag and when i am back from Europe i will get one in 30-30 and one in 44 mag... JP.

This is why i say... Those are a well keep secret, it belong to us to unveill it to all... Accurate, American made rifle, great craftmanship, i am always looking for that kind of stuff in a rifle, there is so many POS, when a good Cie cross your path, it is important to give the good news... 308 is the top, we all agree on that, but shooting pistol calibers in carbine is kind of .... Fun...

Ordered mine in .44 magnum yesterday after seeing this and already have the .22 magnum I should have the Big Boy .44 in hands on Monday!
