Henry Single Shot Rifles

Seen on the US Cabelas site that they have single shot Henry rifles in a bunch of different calibers. Anyone know why we can't get these in Canada? A single shot .223 would be some nice!

These are just barely released. Going to take a few months for them to get to Canada.

Try some of the retailers here for an ETA would be my advice.

I've been waiting patiently. IRG don't even stock them yet. I have want a brass receiver 45/70 and a 20ga shotgun.

Reasonable priced rolling blocks would be nice. Not sure if they could be built to handle the pressure of all the modern cartridge offerings though. That would limit the market unfortunately.

Well I just got a phone call telling me my .223 Henry single shot was in.
I forgot I ordered one a year ago. Lol.
Nice small handy rifle. Seems to feel good. A bit on the heavy side. Open sights are decent, will try it first and decide if I will scope it. Trigger is on the heavy side. Can’t wait to try it. Might become my truck gun for wolf.

I think $500 is quite reasonable . Henry produces good quality rifles , I'm sure these will be solid little rigs .

They do look fine, and folks using 'em like the accuracy well enough. I'd like to see some additional chamberings in these though like .45 Colt, .38-55 and .25-35 Win.

The lack of a recoil pad on the 12ga in the rifleman review seems a bit odd.
If it's a $500cad retail, that's great.

Those people are nuttier than squirrel crap. However, if they are selling at those a asking prices, the buyer's are even nuttier!
