Henry small game carbine &rifle

These look pretty nice. Model H001tlp and H001tlp. They are the models that come from Henry with the skinner peep sights already on them.
Does anyone have one of these? Anyone know where these are in stock in Canada? Thanks Steve

Had an h001 16" for a while, super smooth and quite accurate. Probably would have kept it if it had a peep and longer barrel like this.

I have the H001T Frontier, and I liked it enough that I got the H012M Big Boy Steel in .357Mag as an upgrade for my "bush gun". AFAIK, all Henrys are great rifles, everyone praises their smooth action, quality and exceptional customer service.

The only real criticisms I ever heard about them is about that loading port being on the magazine tube rather than the receiver side and that's just a matter of being used to it. The time one loses pulling out the tube insert is won right back when you can just "dump" your rounds base first one after another as fast as you can feed them vs pushing them one by one through a side gate. Not to mention the possibility of using a speed loader tube, which you cannot do from a side gate.
