Henry US Survival Rifle Full Review with Range Report

Just out of curiosity guys, did you find that your windage was right on with the front sight centred? Mine needs to be moved slightly to the right but I find that it "migrates" back to the centre after 50 shots or so requiring me to re-adjust it frequently.

I was just wondering if your sight moved on its own as well or if it stays put.

I'm trying to think of a non-permanent (but non-visible) way to keep it where I want it. Any ideas?

So after several hundred more rounds I suddenly grouped way of the left. I check the front post and it was bobbly loose. The temp was about 12 below.

I contacted Henry and got a response the next morning from the president of the company! He sent me another post right away.

It pushed in by hand and they suggested loctite.

I'm going to rezero soonest and then try that.

More to follow.

I just picked one of these up for dirtbiking.

Thanks so much for all of the advice and reviews.

I wish I would have read this thread before I paid, but I still would have made the purchase.

BTW I Paid $209 after a $20 in store coupon at Wholesale Sports in Langley.

I really like my Henry. It does fail to eject a lot even when I use stingers and this has caused a few crescent shapes to be melted into the plastic barrel facing. I would kill for an all metal barrel! Great review, thanks!

I've got a charter arms one and after fixing the mag it feeds fine, just the spring force on the thing is ridiculous, the recoil springs I don't find to be that bad, its the damned hammer spring, once it goes to push back the hammer it feels stiff as all hell.
