Hensoldt RSA AS-IS Units for just $199!!! Reg. $839

Ok kewl i dont mind having to pull the batteries. If there is any left on payday ill grab one

I have 2, one is over one year old and still on the same battery... JP.

I have 2 as well and can confirm that one of them drains batteries. It worked when I tested it for about a month. Today the battery is dead. The other one I suspect will be the same. Both were bought on the EE.

That being said.. I bought two more of these confirmed defects. I really liked them when out on the range. Especially for some of the harder to fit firearms. CX4 storm, PS90 , some shotguns, Swiss arms, Famae firearms etc. Batteries are easy to replace or take out. My illuminated scopes use the same batteries and except for the NF ones it's good idea to remove them.

The price more than reflects the defect and it's something I can live with on a fun gun. Plus they are very nice when in use.
Yes you can very easily see the dot in full sunlight. You can also change brightness plus the optic will auto adjust for you if going from interior to outside. It works well.

Do the defect ones come with a riser?

Do they work without batteries in sun or daylight conditions via the solar power?

No, you need to have a battery in, one that isn't completely dead.

I also had the same battery draining problem and just ended up taking the batteries out when not in use. No special tools needed, just a coin of some sort so it isn't a big issue for a range toy.

These went quick. Would have jumped on it for that price. Pulling the battery doesnt seem like a big deal for the cost you are getting them at.

I bought one at the 399.00 price, put it on a 9.3x62 and every time I shot it would jump out of the mount. Anybody else have this problem?

pounder

Do they hold adjusted zero when the battery is pulled and put back?

Yes. I believe the dot is etched into the glass. The adjustment is mechanical to the optic the same way as an Eorech, aimpoint, M21 etc.

For the poster having problems with the mount:

No I've never had the optic come off due to recoil. It clamps on nice and solid for the firearms I've used them on. That being said I haven't used it on anything with lots of recoil yet. Although a number of people have used them with shotguns and we haven't heard of problems with the mount. I would double check that it was fit onto the rail properly and if that failed I would wounder about the rail specs.
