So now they have Carbine Conversion kits for the 2 most popular pistols on the market? Their smart!
Anyone going to import these? Wolverine?

Anyone know if there a full auto conversion for the 1911 like there is for the Glock. I'm not asking for information how to make it, just want to know if there is such a thing.

Yes.
Conversions were being done at least 75 years ago. Colt did some as well.

Oh wow. I guess i just never looked into it because i never had a 1911.

I think both the Glock and 1911 kits are sweet. Im waiting to get a Glock one, but I wouldn't mind both.

Can we add these to the Hera/Wolverine Group buy? lol

I think I just "fell in love"!

I WANT one! :D

Im sure we can get the part number for them. With so many 1911's, I think this would be a good seller too. I may even consider getting one too, since I like .45, and have wanted to get a 1911.

Finally!!!

My only complaint with 10mm Auto was chasing the brass... now I can throw my 1911-10mm inside this thing with a Brass Catcher! COOOOOOL!

I'm definitely interested.

Bonus:
I can now realize my Storm Trooper dream...

Hellz Yeah!

The HERA bolt might be an L shape bracket that extends to the front of the slide, and hooks around it. Then it has a spring like the slide to always stay forward so it doesn't move when the pistol fires.

Or maybe a little pin that hooks into the slide lock, but that seems unlikely

Same deal with the Glock carbine. to get a carbine based on pistol caliber, that has magazine interchangeability with your favorite sidearm, and to have a more accurate and stable platform.

Pistol cal. carbines are few and far between up here, in the USA they have the readily available UMP conversions, the MSAR pistol cal carbine, as well as a whole bunch of others.

These kits allow you to shoot the same ammo (or even possibly the same magazines) as your sidearm, and can also build muscle memory for the placement of mag releases and safety's.

Think you can find a better way to express yourself?

I apologize for expressing my excitement, I've been looking for .45 caliber carbines for a long time. My USC is a great gun but in the end not what I was looking for. A conversion that doesn't cost an arm and a leg to get a good reliable .45 caliber carbine, with fairly inexpensive magazines (compared to most) and the ability to have 10 rounds instead of 5, is a big bonus to me.

He must be 18 or something. 18 year olds are stupid. I know, I was there only a few year ago.

Im 22 by the way, and if im so stupid, im sure you guys can find someone else to run the HERA Arms group buy i've been organizing for you guys ;)

Everytime I see these I remember that youtube video of the glock-automatic where the front handgrip busted off and buddy put 2 through his forward hand before he could get his finger off the trigger. That alone terrifies me of modding pistols like this =)
