Does anyone here have any experience with the HERA brand of AR 15 rifles. I was looking at them, but other than the item description, there is not much information on them to make an educated decision.

Honestly, for what they cost I was never impressed. I used to work for a company that sold them for a while and they had all sorts of problems, including the finish flaking off. And honestly there are a lot of sharp corners on them.

Their warranty wasn't all that great (they really liked to blame problems on anything else) and the way they attached their handguards is quite old and antiquated.

The quality of the materials and the machining was quite nice in most cases, but honestly there are a ton of better manufacturers. ATRS by leaps and bounds; as well as Daniel Defense or you could go with stuff like MEGA Arms (CTCSupplies has them) for a really nice billet receiver set.

Fit and machine work is great , as you would expect for a German manufacturer . My black anodized lower looks great , but as F22 already mentioned, the cerakote on my FDE flaked off everywhere . Doesn't bother me a most of my ARs and bolt guns are used and not babied

The FF hand guards are just OK , lots of better value choices out there . Barrels are nothing special.

If you are looking at a complete rifle, I wouldn't pay a premium for the HERA

Upper and Lower are billet so if you like the look then go for it
