Hera H6???

While stumbling randomly around the Marstar site I came upon a pre-order scheme being offered for a new rifle...or at least new to me. I'm not really a black rifle guy, so I don't keep up on the latest. The Hera H6 looks weird, has a folding stock, a removeable box mag sticking out on the side, and generally looks completely unique. But...a search here reveals...nothing???

Vaporware? Already known to be dead in the water? Maybe on one of the lists that nobody can make sense or or keep track of?

The site says a pre-order is $1600...without actually explaining, as far as I could see, whether that is the full price or just a deposit. It also says In Stock with a checkmark on the same page, a few lines down from the vague pre-order notice.

Any info on this odd and intriguing little gun?

edited: Ah ha! It's actually a bolt gun; I was assuming it was a semi-auto. Not sure if that makes it more or less interesting...

It’s an oddball bolt gun check the black and green precision rifle section. It’s neat and niche, if it floats your boat get one. I’m sure there are other retailers than marstar that will stock one. Hera generally makes good quality accessories, we’ll see if their guns are on par.

My boat may not quite be floating, but it's definitely pulling itself out of the mud. There are a few other retailers listed by North Sylva, but the unique trigger looks like something I need to handle before committing. Gotta admit this gun has my interest.

But not to worry; I found the thread in the North Sylva forum about this gun as well. 125 posts...about 100 of them expressing terror and disgust at the idea of something new...a bit of name-calling, a bit of vitriole...interspersed with a very small amount of useful info. Yep..business as usual for this place.
