I have what my be a dumb question but google couldn't answer so.I have a one pound container of Hercules RL15 powder. Is the loading data the same as current Alliant RL15?Same stuff new company or treat it like IMR-4350/H-4350 close but not the same stuff????

Hercules 2400 and Aliant 2400 seen to be exactly the same.
I use the same load of each in a 44 magnum and cannot determine any difference.

If I remember correctly, Hercules powder was re-branded Alliant some time ago, possibly because of a change of corporate ownership. I've used old bullseye data with new bullseye powder, with no apparent differences.

Same stuff. It is re-branded Bofers 44. (Sweden)

So if I understand this correctly if it is Bofors 44 then you would be able to use IMR 3031 data for reloader 15 along with Bofors 44? The reason I ask is I have a can of 44 that has a penciled in notation to use 3031 data?

Thanks for the clarification. It would be nice if suppliers would use a numbering system that could not be confused with another. Google Bofors 44 and you don't come up with anything in regards to powder.
