If you've posted in this thread trying to work people up and turn this into IRG somehow adding fuel to the fire .. get off the internet.
Go take a look at the place, stuff like this is very real. Whether you're going to believe it or not .. its currently law that indigenous people have more firearms rights than others. If it bothers you that people are going to talk about it .. you're probably not who you're trying to make people think you are.

What you're missing is that I have zero problems with that. Every time I hear about the things that aboriginal peoples have fought for and won for themselves, it actually fills me with pride. I see aboriginal peoples waking up and standing for their community, and I am deeply jealous if I am honest.
No amount of politics or bigotry can take away the fact that native peoples are as of now one of the most activated groups of people, and you should absolutely be proud of that.
Ar-15 never. Restricted. The others, it was a two year amnesty I believe applied to sustenance hunters and not just Indians. Ian Runkle did a great YouTube video on that exemption and what a legal trap it could be. Worth a watch.
For example it stipulated the two year time period was to find s more suitable rifle. What if I already had a non banned one?

So here is a true story for identity politics:
3 years ago, with the new Calgary Police Chief, was a new addition for the front line members.
When officers arrest a person for an offence, they have had for decades two cards they have to read (verbatim) - the Charter Rights card (Right to remain silent, to lawyer etc), as well as the Caution Card (you do not have to say anything, but anything you do say can be used against you etc).
The new/current Chief added one more:
“Do you self identify as an Indigenous person?”. If you answer “no”, then off to jail you go. If you answer “yes”, then you get released, and are supposed to go to a native elder sweat lodge, or whatever.
Again, you do not have to provide any proof at all - just claim you “self identify”.
It is absolutely asinine, but why not use it while it is still a thing to get advantage from?

And I'm sure you have evidence such a policy exists? Western Standard would be all over this sort of thing if it's true?
