Here is how to clean after corrosive ammo

There are boiling out racks at Bisley, the score sheets from comps are pinned to them now! Very interesting bit of history! 6 pints of boiling water for a minimum and replaced by civvieswith a 50/50 mix of 303 oil and tap water for pulling through. Has the same effect!

NC ammo was designated for the carbine by mistake when the specs were being written. A lucky one, because disassembling the gas piston nut for cleaning every time was not a good idea, and one didn't always have the handy wrench.

The Garand still used corrisive primed ammo even in the 1950's I shotr enough of it in service.

Corrosive priming was used for a long time because th priming compound was longer lasting.

There's gypsies everywhere, who just have to know how to find them

Is there pointers to finding Gypsy sign out on the street? Har Har, maybe they're hiding in the bushes now, or over at Penhorn Mall tomorrow.

I had to use the boiling water method to clean out my Ross, I don't know why but I got the STUPID idea of trying match head loads in there with a 00 buck. I'll never do that again.
