How can it be a bolt action.. unless you took out the springs and just let it slam back and chamber a round yourself... how do you lock the bolt?........ its now restricted btw

Ok, but again why oh WHY is it a bolt action ??
There is got to be more to that than easing the recouping of brass.

That makes absolutely no sense...

Get a brass catcher: http://www.3bucc.com/ It's not that hard to adapt it so that it will be it far enough away that it will still catch cases, but not interfere with the charging handle. Get the catcher for the M1A and the flat top AR mount and just bend the rods to fit.

removed the piston, and plugged the gas hole in the sight. Did it just to have a straight pull bolt action so I can keep my brass. No other reason. I think its a 10 x better gun now than before. Why is it restricted now?

ZOMG sUm1 Leeet modded their ghunz! Restridedzorz!:runaway::runaway::runaway::runaway:

I love the misinformation in the firearms community. It's truly entertaining.

Nice looking gun too. How did you block the gas system?

restricted why you ask... Simple answer integrated flashider made it 18.5 ..nevermind you never cut it all down I just looked really close

Very good eye.

Daniellybbert you may have just F__ked yourself for your flash hider. And it is not a bolt action now. It is a neutered semi-auto. What people do to perfectly good firearms sometimes makes me wonder.

LOL they really come out of the woodwork...

What people say about what other people do to their firearms often makes me wonder...

its still over 18.5 inches barrel. I just got a threaded plug made to screw into the sight. took the whole gas system out. If I want semi back its 3 9/64 allan screws and I can put the whole gas system back in. It takes 1 minute.
