I have just acquired this S&W K-22 Masterpiece revolver last week. This is a 5screws manufactured back to 1951, SN is K136###. It has a 6" barrel and adjustable rear sight. It shows holster wear at the muzzle. Otherwise I'd have to call it 80-85%. I didn’t have the chance to shoot it yet, maybe on the next week-end. This is my first K22. Dis you ever try a K22 ?
Any comments about this revolver, it is suppose to be a great model !
Cheers !

I have a k-22 and it is an excellent firearm. the trouble I have, if I don,t keep the chambers clean and brushed out every 10 or 20 shots it gets hard to chamber shells and extract the empty cases. I use this revolver a lot and this is the only problem it gives me.

If I ever buy a another .22 revolver I will be looking for one of these, or at least an older model 17. Enjoy your gun. :)

Nice revolvers for sure...
Sometimes the plunger that ejects the shells can come loose and unscrew itself which will make the cylinder release stop working...took me a while to figure that one out at the range!

I'm envious. She's in great looking shape with just enough wear patina to let you treat it carefully but not to get all fussed out over it.

I've been looking around at .22 revolver options and the other key player in this range, the Ruger Single Six, puts me off with the amount of time needed to clear and reload. The K22 neatly dodges that issue and has the look and feel of the bigger revolvers that will fit my hands far better than the little Model 34 kit gun that I've had some time with.
